Managing Director

Pernille is Managing Director of ALS Singapore and Middle East and runs the Banking & Financial Services practice.

Pernille graduated with a Masters Degree in International Business and Modern Languages from Syddansk University in Denmark and after graduating, moved to Tokyo to begin a 10 year career in Japan, spending 5 years in Wealth Management as a Product Specialist and Assistant Portfolio Manager. She then moved into Executive Search and Selection ultimately running a 30+ people office. In 2006 Pernille moved to Singapore to set up and run the Front, Middle and Back Office recruitment team for Asia's largest mid to senior level recruitment firm. She subsequently went on to run the front office team of a boutique firm prior to joining ALS. Pernille moved to Abu Dhabi in 2010 to establish the ALS business in the Middle East where she continues ALS's successful recruitment relationships with International Private Practice Law firms, Banks and Financial Services.

Pernille is specialising in legal and front office banking recruitment mandates and has successfully placed senior lawyers and business leaders across Wealth Management, Corporate and Investment Banking in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Europe in the last 10 years.

Pernille is an MBA holder and is fluent in English, Danish and German and speaks conversational Japanese.

Ali Alhadithi

Associate Director

Ali graduated with Honors from the School of Engineering and earned a Master Degree at the University of Leeds. Prior to joining ALS he gained five years of experience of Recruitment Consulting within the Middle East’s Legal and Compliance domain. During this time, Ali helped to establish and propel successful desks for two of the industry’s leading multinational brands in Dubai. He has serviced clients and candidates across various market verticals and levels of seniority, and built a proven track record of high profile in house and private practice placements.

Ali is a native Arabic speaker who communicates fluently in English. He grew up in the UK and lived in the GCC for fourteen years. This equips him with a thorough understating of the Middle East’s social and business customs, complemented by a real sense of cultural conformity and long term commitment to the Middle East. Ali is committed to consulting his clients and candidates with the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and confidentiality.
