Kevin specialises in legal recruitment in the PRC market and works closely with ALS consultants based in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Prior to joining ALS, Kevin practiced corporate law for several years in both a global law firm and a domestic boutique law firm in China. Kevin has placed Senior Partners in China and having worked in the legal sector in China himself, he is keenly aware of the needs and requirements of lawyers in the PRC.
He offers advice and recruitment services to in-house clients and law firms in China as well as providing knowledgeable and sound career advice to lawyers looking to move.

Steven Shou
Senior Consultant - Legal
Steven is a Consultant within the Legal Practice team at ALS International. He received his B.A. in East Asia Policy and Relations from the University of Virginia with honors and completed his Juris Doctorate from the Washington College of Law at American University.
Whilst at university, Steven acquired significant legal practice experience through internships with the federal government’s Overseas Private Investment Corporation, and American International Group’s (AIG) Tokyo office. He was also a summer associate at Perkins Coie in the firm’s Hong Kong office.
After law school, he relocated to Tokyo to move into the recruitment industry specialising in the recruitment of investment professionals in the Financial Services sector. Born in China but raised in the US, he eventually relocated to Beijing in 2006 to help a legal recruiting firm start up an office in China before joining ALS.
