Our client is one of the largest and most prestigious law firms with a history of providing top rate services to their rapidly expanding portfolio.  They have an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team in providing business development leadership for one of the firm’s fastest growing Asia Pacific offices.

Reporting to the Head of Business Development for Asia Pacific, you will be championed with the task to develop and execute business strategies to build and strengthen the firm’s presence in China, particularly Beijing.  You will work with the existing 2 partners and pitch and proposal team to build a framework that will allow for rapid growth and expansion.  On the PR and communications side of the scope, you will coordinate the preparation and dissemination of press releases, including deal announcements and firm news.  It will also be your responsibility to liaise with the global communications team on internal communications projects while indentifying and pursuing opportunities to raise the firm’s presence and profile in Asia.

The successful candidate will have 6 or more year’s relevant experience, preferably in professional services industries and ideally from a law firm.  English and Mandarin at a fluent speaking and writing level is a must.  Strong experiences in facing and working with senior executives and partners will be a large asset as it will allow you to adapt and excel in this environment.  A good ability to multitask will help as in this role you will have many job functions and responsibilities working with a close knit team.
