Financial Controller, Greater China

Continually looking to strengthen their team, a new position for a Financial Controller has now been created to support the Chief Financial Controller in driving the growth of the Greater China region.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a small team to manage the overall financial performance for the region.  Your analysis and interpretation of results will provide key business insight to support business decision-making.  This is a commercially focused position working as a business partner to the various business units, acting as a trusted advisor and representative to present business initiatives to the senior management team and US headquarters.  In addition, you will consistently seek improvements across all business operations, implement best practice and ensure compliance with global and local regulations.

Suitable candidates should be professionally qualified ACA/CPA or have an MBA degree with at least 10-12 years experience in a dynamic US multinational corporation.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills are imperative, as is a proven record of successful business partnership skills in a complex matrix environment. The confidence and gravitas to represent businesses and deliver presentations to the Board of Management is also imperative. Fluency in English and Chinese is critical as is strong commercial acumen and a passion for the hi-tech industry.

SVP/VP Recruitment Manager, Investment Banking

This individual is responsible for ensuring the correct recruitment strategies are in place to meet the Bank’s hiring needs in a proactive manner as well as manage the supply chain of agencies for the Investment and Corporate Bank’s business area.

The successful candidate will be working as a senior individual within a team of recruiters, thus mentoring and developing the product-specific knowledge of the recruiting team on a day to day basis and ensuring the highest caliber candidates are attracted through the appropriate choice of resourcing strategies including external recruitment vendors where necessary.  Specifically, you are responsible for ensuring clients receive an innovative, efficient and timely recruitment service in terms of transactional recruiting, as well as communicating effectively providing a seamless process.

Critical to your success and credibility, you will build effective and trusting relationships with hiring managers and provide an alternative source of expertise on negotiation, closing strategies, search process, product knowledge and an understanding of market pressures, and insight into recruitment best practices.

Legal Recruitment Manager, North Asia - Magic Circle Firm

Head of Operational Risk Management

Our client is a leading high fashion brand with a growing presence in every major fashion city of the world.  Their latest collections and designs set the trend in every high street and style the most fashion conscious dressers in every local market.

Reporting directly to the General Manager and working as a key business partner to all operational department heads, this is an integral role to drive the growth and profitability of the company.  You will work with divisions to devise the annual budgeting plan, and provide financial and product analysis for all brand categories and collections on a regular basis.  You will be involved with all pricing matters, look at capacity planning and sourcing requirements and review distribution, promotional and various channels of sales.  You will also share best practices and continually seek improvements to operations to maximise profitability.

Regional Financial Controller
