Regional Events & Sponsorship Manager (Singapore)
Our client is an international asset management firm who offers global investment management expertise through global/international funds. They are currently expanding their marketing team and is seeking a Regional Events & Sponsorship Manager to join their marketing team Singapore.
The role will be responsible for planning, conceptualizing and delivering regional and local events and sponsorships to raise brand awareness and profile of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for planning and executing these regional events for both institutional marketing and retail/private bank channels. He/She will work closely with internal stakeholders from different business units. The role will also be responsible for evaluating, negotiating, planning and implementing corporate sponsorships.
To be considered for this critical role, you will need to demonstrate:
- At least 5 years’ of relevant marketing experience, with focus on event management within financial services
- Excellent communications and presentations skills
- Strong knowledge of the project management skills
- Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Fluent English and knowledge of Mandarin would be an advantage as there will be dealings with Chinese speaking clients

Business Manager/Project Manager (Hong Kong)

Our client is a renowned professional services firm with global operations and a long tenure and history across Asia Pacific. As a market leader in their field, the business offers a diverse range of professional solutions and services to all corporate companies across banking and capital markets, corporate and commercial companies and unique individuals that require tailored solutions. As a result of continued growth and expansion, they have now created a new position for Asia Pacific that will be instrumental to supporting major deals that they win.
Based in Hong Kong and sitting alongside the senior management team for the region, you will report directly to the UK corporate headquarters and the Regional COO and Finance teams for Asia. You will be involved with any major cross border/complex transactions that the firm enters into, from the initial business development pitch with the client, through to preparation of the pitch document, pricing and project managing the whole deal, working with the senior management team across multiple jurisdictions and functions. As a new function for Asia, you will interact closely with your UK counterparts to set up the blueprint for all projects, policies and procedures for this role across the region, and work closely across all functions to project manage the performance tracking of all deals.
Suitable candidates should ideally have some proven experience of working in similar business management or project management roles. You should have 8-12 years of experience, ideally in another leading professional services environment. You will also need to be confident and professional in your delivery, and have the gravitas to be both client facing and to work with the senior management team. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence tactfully and diplomatically to drive projects and monitor performance is essentially. A strong eye for detail and the flexibility to work independently will also be critical skills to have.
