Our client is an international professional services firm, with over 50 offices across the globe. Servicing clients across all key industry sectors including financial institutions, IT&T, manufacturing, oil & gas, energy, mining and commodities, life sciences and healthcare, they are recognized as a firm with utmost integrity, delivery and professionalism.
Due to a globalization drive to improve efficiency across the business, this is a newly created strategic role to support the senior management team. Reporting to the COO EMEA based in the UK and the Head of Asia in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for all corporate support functions including finance, HR, marketing & business development, IT and administration.
Partnering the regional management team and business heads, you will help devise the strategic direction for the business, ensure alignment to regional and corporate goals and promote further integration across all functional areas to drive efficiency. You will work with HR to provide guidance and oversight on policies, hiring, retention and training strategies; with finance for pricing and performance management, evaluation of strategic investments and new market entries; IT for geographical unification and project implementation and administration for overall facilities management. You will also drive compliance initiatives, contingency plans and manage any other global, regional or ad hoc projects that may arise.
Suitable candidates should be seasoned executives with a strong numerical background and ability to understand and interpret financial information in a suitable manner for the business to understand. You will have proven general management experience working across multiple corporate functions and demonstrate a hands-on ability to drive transformation, execution and implementation of change. You will also have experience of working in Asia, be familiar with the local landscape for business and how to get the best out of markets across the region, including China and Japan. Executive presence and gravitas together with strong communication and influencing skills will be essential for the role, and fluency in Chinese a distinct preference.

Senior Portfolio Manager – Multi Strategy (Singapore)
Our client is an international asset management firm who provides a range of investment solutions to clients. They are seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager – Multi Strategy to join their team. The position can be based either in Hong Kong or Singapore.
The role will be responsible for managing and providing analytical responsibility for multi asset classes. The incumbent will need to have an in-depth analysis of the companies/stocks for investment of the portfolio. The incumbent will participate in regular investment meetings with the investment team and be able to articulate the investment process and stock ideas to clients.
To succeed in this role you will require the following demonstrable skills and attributes:
- 10-15 years of relevant portfolio management experience with good track record
- In-depth knowledge across multi asset classes
- Good investment track record with proven ability to work in a team-oriented investment process
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in interacting and serving a diverse client base
